Welcome to Kansas City's most popular wedding package. It's not a joke. We host hundreds of cake and toasts every year and have found this package to be perfect for couples who want something simple while still hitting the main elements of a traditional reception. Come for three hours. Bring your cake. Bring a drink to toast with. Get married. Do a first dance and maybe some speeches, and don't forget to take those photos. Skip the expensive food, open bar, and all other decorating that goes with planning and hosting a larger reception with guests seated around tables.

You can't bring a bunch of apps or host an open bar at a cake and toast. If that is something you are looking for, you are going to want the Full Reception Package. Check it out HERE.

  • Three Hr Rental for Ceremony and Small Dessert Reception

  • Chairs for 50 Guests (Plus Set Up and Tear Down)

  • Utensils + Service for up to 50 

    • Clear plastic plates, forks, and cups.

    • White cocktail napkins.

    • We help pour your drinks and cut your cake!

    • Additional Guests up to 75 can be added for $5/person.

  • Cake Table with Linen

  • Use of the Chapel

  • Use of the Outdoor Space

  • Use of Restrooms ONLY in Reception Space via Exterior Entrance (No Getting Ready Access Unless Booked Separately)

CAKE + TOAST RECEPTIONS

 

Every Cake and Toast Reception can host up to 75 people. However, we highly recommend 50 people. Please include everyone who will need a seat and a plate in your count. It is an event that will go from folks seated during a ceremony to a mingling event. Please understand that it is not an event with guests seated around tables. We will not flip the space. After the ceremony, guests can move chairs around if needed and stand and mingle. Your package will automatically include a five foot round table and a linen color of your choice. This table is meant for the cake and drinks, you do have the option to add a gift/extra table if desired.

YES! You will have to bring your own officiant. But we recommend some HERE.

Tell Me What It Looks Like...

Here is what we recommend! Bring a cake to cut and a rolling cooler full of drinks on ice to share. It is one drink per guest. Please don't show up with enough for everyone to have multiple drinks. This is a celebratory drink and not an open bar. Our staff will help you cut your cake and pour your drinks if necessary. We provide your clear plastic cake plates, clear plastic forks, white cocktail napkins, and clear plastic 9oz drink cups. 

We recommend doing your ceremony about 45 minutes into your 3 hour time slot. Most ceremonies last about 15 minutes. From there, ring the bell, and then cut your cake. While your guests are enjoying their slice of cake, go take some intimate pictures with your spouse. Head back in and enjoy a time of toasts, first dances, and maybe even a speech or two. Use the last 30 minutes to clean up and head out. Usually, this all happens with plenty of time to spare!
 

Optional Cake and Toast Add-Ons

  • Additional guests above 50: $5 per guest (Covers their chair, service, and utensils)

  • Champagne: $20 per bottle.

    • We have a cart we put your bottles in with ice and roll it over to the chapel

    • No obligation to purchase from us, you can still bring your own​

  • Cocktail Table with Linen: $20

    • Great for memory table, guestbook, or unity element table.

  • Arch: $75

    • Draping: $25​

    • Floral: $40

  • Sound System Rental: $75

    • Wireless, Bluetooth, Includes Lapel + Microphone

  • Photobooth: $100

    • All guests can send the photos to themselves by text/email and you will get a link with all pictures taken. ​

  • Day-Of Coordination: $600

  • Additional Event Hours (per availability), prior to the time slot: $250/hr

  • Getting Ready Room (per availability), $50/hr during slot, $150/hr prior to time slot

Rental Pictures

Our Spaces

Our chapel is the jewel of our property. Cake and Toast packages have access to our chapel and outdoor ceremony space, along with the indoor restrooms via an exterior entrance located at the reception space. Otherwise, Cake and Toast Package only bookings will not be in the reception space. Getting Ready Room rentals may be possible depending upon our schedule for an additional fee.
